About Us and Our Mission
Frontier CNG Inc., headquartered in Coquitlam BC, was founded by Steve Carmichael in 2016. Steve is an entrepreneur with over 35 years of sales, managerial and business acumen. He sees CNG as an underdeveloped market, as fleet owners continually complained about rising fuel costs and lack of fuel options for the future.
Frontier’s mission is to become the cost effective, vertically integrated ‘well to wheel’ service provider of CNG fueling stations and vehicle conversions for commercial fleet owners in Canada. Fleets will initially start converting existing vehicles to CNG and then replacing fleets with factory built CNG Vehicles.
Why its important
Fuel is one of Canadian fleet owners’ highest operational costs, ranging from 25% to 50% of total costs. With the price of gasoline and diesel bouncing up and down like a ‘yoyo’, Natural Gas, with its domestic 150+ year supply, lower cost and low carbon emission are key reasons fleet owners are switching over to CNG vehicles.
